Recipes¶

Recipes in the tab bar is the whole drink book, for everyone: owners, hosts, guests, and people without a bar of their own. Each drink is a row: a photo, its name and spirit, and whether you can make it. Tap the row to open the full recipe: measures (in ounces or millilitres, which an owner sets for the whole account in Me → Account settings), a ✓ for each ingredient on the current shelf, the garnish, a note on technique and the bar tools you'll need. Tap it again to fold it away. Every drink has its own photo; a recipe without one borrows a similar drink's, marked Similar drink.

Narrow the list with the Filters at the side (on a phone, tap Filters to open them):

• Can I make it?: Any, Ready to pour (you have every required ingredient) or One bottle away (the card says which). It checks against a bar; with several, pick which one. While a party is active, it checks against the party.
• Mine: Favorites (drinks you've starred), Made before (drinks you've poured), Up next (your line-up, see below; while a party is active, that party's queue instead) and New this week (the latest recipes we've added)
• Has ingredient: drinks that use it
• Spirit: one base spirit, or Mocktail for the alcohol-free recipes

Filters combine, and Clear all resets them. Change the Sort order (closest to ready, A to Z, fewest ingredients, most made) and Show 25 or 50 drinks a page, with page numbers at the bottom. Shelf & Shaker remembers your choices for next time.

Search matches drink names, base spirits and ingredient names. Search Cointreau to find everything that uses it.

Can't decide? Tap Try This! above the list for a random drink you can make right now, with its full recipe. Try another picks again.

Once your shelf has bottles, Best next bottle, at the side of the My Shelf page, shows the one bottle that would make the most extra drinks ready. Tap Add to shelf to put it there. Buy next on Home does the same for your account's favorites: tap I have it once you've got one.

Favorites¶

Tap ☆ to save a drink. Favorites belong to you, not the bar. They follow you to every bar you can open, including a friend's bar on a guest pass.

Made it?¶

Tap Made it? after you pour a drink. The card then shows how many times you've made it and when you last did. Tap − to take one back off. Like favorites, this history belongs to you, not the bar.

Up next¶

Tap + on a drink to line it up to pour next, and tap it again to take it off. The Up next filter lists the line-up in the order you added it, with the count beside it. There's no limit. Everyone with access to the bar sees the same Up next. While a party is active, + orders the drink at that party instead, and only shows on drinks the party can pour.
