Parties

Plan a get-together, invite people with one QR code, and run the bar from a shared drinks queue.

Plan one (hosts)

Tap Party in the tab bar (it opens the active party, or the list). Two ways in:

  • Start a party now makes a party for today, active at once, and opens Plan on the QR code so you can print or share it.
  • Plan a party needs only a name. Date, time, place, the bar it's pouring from and invite emails are optional, and can wait. Tap Create party.

One party is active at a time, and only the active party takes orders. Your first party becomes active if none is. Tap Make active on any other party to switch, or End party to stop taking orders.

Then open Plan:

  • Invite guests is at the top: tap Share link to send it, or Print QR and put it on the bar. Anyone who scans it joins as a guest. If they don't have an account yet, they make a free one and land straight back in the party. The link works until the day after the party; New join link (at the bottom) stops the old one and any printed copies.
  • Invite by email sends each person the party's details and an RSVP link. I'll be there puts them on the list (through a free sign-up if they're new); Can't make it records that. The invite list shows each person as Invited, Going or Can't make it. Resend sends a new link (the old one stops working), and Remove takes them off.
  • Add a host puts another host from your account on the list.
  • Edit name, date, time and place changes the details.

Drinks

Everyone on the list sees What's pouring: every drink the bar can make right now, counting what people said they'll bring. Your favorites come first. Tap Order and it joins the queue (or tap + on a drink in Cocktails while the party is active); My drinks in the queue shows your place in line.

Bartender

Anyone at the party can tend bar. Bartender shows the queue in order, with who asked for each drink and the full recipe.

  • The top drink is open, ready to make. Tap Made it and the next one moves up (it counts in that person's Made before). Tap any other drink to open it.
  • ↑ ↓ move a drink up or down. ⋯ has Switch (another drink that can be made) and Remove.
  • Out of something? Tap the ingredient. Drinks that need it come off the menu, and anyone whose order needs it is asked to pick something else. Back in stock undoes it.

The queue refreshes by itself every 20 seconds.

What to bring

Plan also ranks what's missing three ways: Everyone's favorites (weighted by how many people want each drink), My favorites, or Most new drinks. Tap I'll bring it on a bottle or a tool; Who's bringing what shows the whole plan.

Shopping list (hosts only)

Me → Shopping list ranks what to buy for a bar the same three ways, using your favorites or every host's, and lists anything running low. Guests never see it.
